Mr. Jayadev Galla is the Chairman and Managing Director of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited since August 2021. As a Co-founder of Amara Raja, he joined the Group in the year 1994 and worked in various capacities. Before joining the Company, he served as an International Sales Executive, at GNB Battery Technologies, Inc., USA (now part of Exide Technologies, USA). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, USA.

Mr. Jayadev Galla is a member of the World Economic Forum representing the Amara Raja Group. He is appointed as a Governor of the Electricity Industry and as a Principal of the Global Battery Alliance. Participating in the Electricity Industry Governors meeting in the 2023 edition, he spoke on the implications of the energy crisis for security, climate, affordability and its impact on the pace of energy transition, and he was also part of a roundtable on Building Resilience in Global Electronics and Semiconductor Supply Chain.

Harshavardhana Gourineni (Harsha) has done his Graduation in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Purdue University, USA. Harsha joined the Amara Raja Group as Sr. Management Executive in October 2015 and worked in Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing functions. He was the MD & CEO of Mangal Industries Limited. Presently, he is the Executive Director – Automotive & Industrial Batteries, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.

Vikramadithya Gourineni has attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Vikram joined the Amara Raja Group as a Management Executive in the month of August 2013 and worked in various capacities including Sales & Marketing of Galla Foods and Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited. He was the Managing Director of Amara Raja Power Systems Ltd and Amara Raja Electronics Ltd. Presently he is Executive Director- New Energy Business, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.

Vijayanand S has done his post-graduation in Chemical Engineering. His journey in Amara Raja started in November 1992 as Assistant Manager. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He handled Marketing, Research and Engineering and various other roles during his tenure. He is the Merit Award winner for his contribution to the “yellow hat / kantori start-up team” by JCI in May 2005. He previously headed the Industrial Batteries SBU of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited and was also the CEO of Amara Raja Power Systems Business. He’s now the President of New Energy Business, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility.

Jaikrishna B has joined us in the capacity of Vice President – HR in the year 2005. Jaikrishna is a graduate in Economics and a postgraduate in Social Work with a specialisation in Personnel Management from the Madras School of Social Work- University of Madras. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He’s handled the CSR and other Social responsibility roles in the Group and has headed the IT function. He’s also the Advisor to the Galla family. He is currently the President – Group HR and Ombudsperson of the Amara Raja Group.

Narasimhulu Naidu C has done his Graduation in Mechanical Engineering. His journey in Amara Raja started in the month of Oct 1994 as Sr. Engineer. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme in Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. During his tenure, he handled Production Planning & Control, Purchase, QA, Production – Auto SBU, Projects & Environment, Operations of Mangal Industries and various other roles. He’s now the Chief Operations Officer, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.

Venkat Madhav has done his Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering. His journey in Amara Raja started in the month of May 1993 as Management Trainee. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme in Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. During his tenure, he handled Production Planning & Control, Purchase, Production of Auto SBU, Operations – Galla Foods and various other roles. Now he is heading the Group Supply Chain Management Function.

Kannan has done his graduation in Commerce from Madras University and CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has rich experience of over three decades in the functions of Finance, Treasury, Commercial , SCM, Operations, Taxation & Legal. His journey in Amara Raja started from November 2020.

Kishore is an Engineering Graduate in Computer Technology and holds MBA in Marketing. He has also undergone Leadership Course for Top Management from the Indian School of Business(ISB), Hyderabad and IT Leadership courses from GE Crotonville. His Journey in Amara Raja Started in Jul 2016. He is the Chief Information Officer of Amara Raja Group.

Rajesh Jindal has joined us in the capacity of Regional Sales Manager – North, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited based in New Delhi. Rajesh Jindal has done his Graduation in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is currently Chief Marketing Officer – Automotive Batteries – India, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.

Jagadish M has joined as Deputy General Manager in Application Engineering function in Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited in May 2005. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme in Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Jagadish has earlier worked with Amara Raja and rejoined us in the year 2005. He has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore University.

Venkata Krishna has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. He has also undergone a General Management and Leadership Development Programme in Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. His journey in Amara Raja started in August 1991 as Engineer Trainee and worked in various locations across India in various capacities while handling Marketing & Sales. He headed the ISBU Marketing & Sales Function, Operations of ISBU and the Home Incubation Task Force. Now, he is Chief Marketing Officer – Industrial Batteries, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.

Sajan P David has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala and Master of Business Administration from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He has rich experience over two decades in Global Business Development, Operations Management, Engineering Management and Strategic Leadership in diverse environments. His journey in Amara Raja started from Feb 2019.

Sriram has done his graduation in Industrial engineering. His Journey with Amara Raja started in 1992, and during his tenure at ARE&M, he handled Production, QA, Maintenance, Injection Molding, Continuous Improvements, Plant Operations and Projects. He is now the Business Head for Galla Foods, the group company specializing in Pulps and Concentrates, Beverages and Formulations and is sold in over 40 countries worldwide.

Nageshwar has done his Graduation in Civil Engineering from Osmania University. He has a rich experience in end-to-end solutions for Residential, Industrial, IT and commercial buildings. He joined us in September 2009 as Deputy General Manager – Projects for Infra business. He is now Business Head – Civil and Services, Amara Raja Infra.

Dwarakanadha Reddy is a graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Karnataka University. His journey in Amara Raja started in February 1999 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. During his tenure he has held responsibilities in Production Planning, Manufacturing, Purchase, SCM and Operations. Now he is heading Power business in Amara Raja Infra.

Sriram S V joined Mangal Industries as General Manager – Supply Chain, based at HO, Tirupati in December 2017. Sriram has done his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has also undergone a General Management and Young Leadership Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a recipient of the “Young Managers Award” in the south zone from the All India Management Association (AIMA).

Vikas Sabharwal has joined us in April 2021 as Company Secretary and heading the Secretarial and Legal department. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a commerce graduate from Delhi University and Masters in Business Laws from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.

Prashant is a Chemical Engineer with post-graduation in Sustainability from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai. He has experience implementing sustainability roadmaps in multiple sectors like Auto, FMCG, Natural Resources & Mining industries. Prashant Tiwari joined us as Chief Sustainability Officer in April 2022.

Indeevar Govardhanagiri has done his Masters of Business Administration from the Illinois State University, USA. He holds an engineering degree in Electronic & Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology. During his tenure with Amara Raja, he has handled various roles in Sales, Automotive Aftermarket and Electronics. His learning is from a mix of professional and entrepreneurial experience. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has global exposure in leadership roles across industries. Currently he is the Chief Marketing Officer for International Automotive Business at Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited.
