To Shreeja Mahila Milk Producer Company, which is a cooperative with over 1,20,000 women dairy farmers as members. The entity sources milk from its member farmers at remunerative prices and shares the profits with them. This MPO has two processing plants which are operated by SHGs in alliance with District Rural Development Agency.
For Rural Income Generation
To Resham Sutra which has developed a low-cost solar-powered compact silk yarn making machine. They have developed a novel silk fabric weaving loom which is a fusion of a hand loom and power loom incorporating the positives of both these systems. Resham Sutra works with women from Self-Help Groups to make silk yarn and to weave silk fabrics using their machines, this way, Resham Sutra has so far created livelihood for about 22,000 women.
For Best Agri Based Business
To Bhaumya Innovations that transforms wastelands ridden with stones into cultivable lands by innovative machines. These machines remove the stones and are a boon to farmers. This machine can play a key role in government plans to convert wastelands for farming. Many marginal farmers have evinced interest in using the company’s machine on rental basis and farmers with cumulative land holding of 3,000 acres have signed up.
